By purchasing, booking, or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you (“Client,” “you”) and veronica Vizcaino, an individual doing business as Hand Lab Design (“Hand Lab Design,” “we,” “us”), Carapungo, 170204, Quito, Ecuador. By checking the acceptance box and completing your purchase, or by booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not purchase.
Our services are for business and professional use by individuals 18 or older who have authority to act for their business.
The Web Strategic Audit (the “Audit”) is a one-time, personalized review of one website that you identify. It includes:
Delivery. We will deliver the report and hold or schedule the meeting within https://calendly.com/webmaster-handlabdesign/30min after (i) your payment is confirmed and (ii) you provide the information we reasonably request. Missing information extends this window.
Not included. The Audit does not include implementation, redesign or development work, copywriting, SEO ranking work, advertising management, hosting, ongoing support, or any technical, security, accessibility (ADA/WCAG), legal, privacy or tax compliance review or certification. Implementation is available only under a separate written agreement.
The Audit costs $47 USD, paid once through PayPal. The price does not include taxes, if any apply. Your booking is confirmed only after payment is complete and you have booked your session. You must accept these Terms by checking the box at checkout; we keep a record of your acceptance (date, time and version of the Terms). PayPal’s own terms also apply to the payment.
If, within 30 days after we deliver your Audit report, you sign a written agreement with us for a custom project (such as a website redesign, portfolio or landing page), we will credit $47 against that project’s fee. One credit per Client and per Audit. The credit has no cash value and is not transferable.
You agree to give us accurate information and to confirm that you own, or are authorized to have us review, the website you submit. If we need access to analytics, advertising or CMS accounts, you will grant view-only access through the platform’s invitation feature. Never send passwords by email or chat. You are responsible for the access you grant. We do not make changes to your website as part of the Audit.
We give recommendations based on professional judgment and general best practices. We do not guarantee any result, including traffic, rankings, leads, conversions, sales or revenue. Results depend on factors outside our control. Examples we share are illustrations, not promises. The Audit is not legal, tax, accessibility, privacy, security or regulatory advice; consult a qualified professional for those matters. You are responsible for the legal compliance of your business, content and advertising claims.
The Audit report, roadmap and related materials remain the property of Hand Lab Design. We grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use them for your own business purposes, including sharing them with your employees and with contractors or vendors who implement the recommendations for you. You may not resell or publish the report. You keep ownership of your website, content and materials.
We keep non-public information you share confidential and use it only to deliver the Audit, except as required by law or when shared with service providers bound by confidentiality. This does not cover information that is public, already known to us, or independently developed. We will not publish your name, logo, results or website as a case study without your prior written permission.
The Refund Policy is part of these Terms. If we must reschedule for unforeseen circumstances, we will offer alternative times or a full refund, at your choice.
To the extent permitted by law, the Audit is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities; (b) we are not responsible for downtime or failures of third-party hosting, plugins, platforms or payment processors; and (c) our total liability for any claim arising from the services will not exceed the amount you paid for the service that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from materials or access you provide without authority, or from your breach of these Terms.
You agree to receive notices electronically. Your electronic acceptance has the same effect as a signature, as provided by the E-SIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
We may update these Terms. Updated Terms apply to purchases made after the effective date shown above. For earlier purchases, the version in effect when you bought controls, except for changes required by law. We will post the new date and email customers with pending bookings about material changes.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the entire agreement for the Audit; custom projects are governed by a separate signed agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We are an independent contractor. These Terms are in English; Spanish summaries are provided for convenience and are meant to match them, and English controls if they differ. We will provide a full Spanish translation on request.
